Ice Bowl (Green Bay defeats Dallas)

The 1967 league championship game was one of the greatest ever played for many reasons: the rivalry between the teams from Dallas and Green Bay who had met in the 1966 championship game as well; their immortal coaches (Laundry and Lombardi), the coldest New Year's Eve day in Green Bay history (−15 °F, with windchill at around −48 °F), and the game's dramatic climax, when the legendary home team quarterback moved downfield and scored the winning one-yard touchdown despite the devastating weather conditions and the vaunted "doomsday defense" guarding the goal line. Playmaker: Mike D.
